The week before I had started quilting my siggy swap blocks quilt and I hope to show a picture of the finished quilt soon.
This week I received the last lot of my yarn subscription. That was something I could drool over. Quite easy with a running nose! I can see some nice socks or scarves there.
As my dear son and I are flying next week to the UK to see my dear sis, I had to finish her socks. And here they are. The pattern is called Clessidra from Knitty.She wanted some flaps to fold over boots and there are still some buttons missing at the outside sides.
This afternoon we had a gorgeous weather and so I spent some time dyeing more sock yarn with Kool Aid. Pictures will be in the next post too.
I want to thank you all for your nice comments on the scrappy star quilt. They went down like honey, which was just what I needed this week.

Hello big sister, yeh, first one again, I should really get a life! The socks are great thanks, shame the weather has changed and it is now sandal temperature but I am sure it will change tomorrow! Safe flying,

Do you think you can catch a cold from a blog? I too have a runny nose and a head like a pumpkin. Hope you enjoy your trip to the UK, Its raining again so I'm sure the socks will be needed.g

Glorious colours those yarns. I can't wait to see what you do with them. As for the socks for your sister, they are gorgeous! My husband has been hankering for some new socks to wear with his kilt (he's a scot and plays bagpipes). They would really fit the bill, thanks for the link.
