After I had seen Anne Heidi´s Siggy Quilt, I decided that it was time to get mine finished too. This week I managed to sew the top together.
The most difficult part was to find a border. I wanted to use my stash (you know the stash reducing idea!) but I don´t have that many big pieces of fabric as I buy most often fat quarters. After many hesitations, tries, over-night stewing,... I decided to go for something neutral to bring out the siggy blocks colours.
I am thinking of quilting some pansies in the border too.
Maybe I will tie the quilt with buttons in the middle. Anyway I still have time to think about it as I have other projects on the go which need attending to.
I wish you a very successful week.

One fantastic finish... great setting, great quilt!
Oh, your siggie swap quilt top is wonderful! Love the stitchery you added! And fun that you didn't centre it :o) ...I really should stitch mine together, too...
I think you made just the right choice for your borders! Can't imagine any way it could be better.
Oh my - the stitchery is just the perfect (an unexpected) touch. Great job *s*
The stitchery has the prefect saying for your siggy quilt. Very nice layout.
Another siggy quilt finished! I must get to mine. The border looks good with the blocks - and the little stitchery there is perfect! I bet some pansies in the border would really bring it all together. I should really get mine together :))
I love the little stitchery you've added and the border fabric is just right. Reminds me I have a Dear jane siggy top to put together !
Looks great, tht is the setting i have half completed...just having a bitof trouble with the points, tracey
Very nice quilt top you have created out of your siggy blocks. The stitchery is a perfect addition. Will it be quilted soon? My blocks are still in a drawer - waiting to be sewn together.
Like Pam, I really need to get mine together too. Yours is just perfect with the stitchery block.
The siggy top is wonderful and I love your choice for a border.
ciao,
your blue quilt is fantastic.
I had ever done Siggy like Annalise, which are the size of these?

What a fun quilt -- I love how the embroidery really sets off the blocks. Have a wonderful week yourself!
Mine is still waiting...I love the stitchery about friendship and your borders...
Dein Siggy-Quilttop ist wunderschön geworden. Tolle Idee, eine Stickerei hineinzunehmen. Meine Blöcke warten noch...
