It was crammed like every year but we (a dear friend and I) went there early and so we could see a lot (at the beginning anyway!). I took pictures of two shops I like a lot: the first is a German local fabric maker called Westfalenstoffe who makes very nice fabrics especially for kids.
The second picture is of my LQS Quiltcabin (Hello Ursel!).
I did buy some stuff! Have I already told you that I like brown?!
I found some nice japanese fabrics, two japanese magazines I had to have, some rayon threads and some nice ribbons. I also bought knitting wool for socks, next winter will come some time!
All in all it was a very nice day.

Hi Gwen, I think that you have captured many ideas.
The magazine with the bag may be interesting. ciao ciao
I'm looking forward seeing what you will have done with these fabrics. I too love the Japanese books with bags.
Hi Gwen, It sounds like you had a wonderful day! Your loot looks great.
A day spent with a friend is very special indeed. Looks like a great place to spend time together.
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I tried to reply but it didn't work. You to are a new blogger like myself. Like what you have put on so far. Have bookmarked you so I can look in and see what you have done. Not sure when I will start Nearly Insane but if wil hopefully be in the next few months.
Oh you have some wonderful finds! And the pictures of the quilt store booths are so much fun! Look at all that color! It is wonderful!
Wow, I like your purchases. Oh... I like those colours. Glad to read that you had a very nice day. Happy quilting!
Sounds like a perfect day!
Ahhh yes, that looks like the Stitches & Craft Show we have over here that travels round Australia. A great day but you are oh so tired by the end. But it's a happy tired (with a sad purse!!)
Thank you for showing us this pictures. The pic from the "Quiltcabin" put me in mind of the fabric I bought at their stand (one year ago) in South-Germany (was ist in Saulgau?). The fabric is from Australia and I want to make a quilt for my eldest son. It's full of bugs, grubs and ants - he loves all those small animals :-)) I think as soon as I finish the Hexagons, I will make his quilt! Thanks again for the reminder - and for the nice comments you leave on my blog!
